Star Wars Imperial Assault Miniatures by Oldenhammer

When Toronto native Matthew Sullivan heard that Fantasy Flight Games was releasing Imperial Assault, a Star Wars miniature combat game, he became so excited that he “darkened his trousers with a rich, fragrant urine.”  After cleaning that up and securing a copy of the game for himself he found his next, more serious, challenge was to change his painting style. As an avid Warhammer painter he was proficient at painting miniatures for a run down setting involving rust effects and stains, but the Star Wars world is nothing like that, Star Wars is bright, clean, and new.
