Jason and Siegrid Pregarner are huge Terra Mystica fans, but their friends continually pointed out that the map was unfair. Agreeing this was a true statement, Jason started coming up with ideas to create a modular board. When he realized how expensive it would be to buy tiles of a specific color he decided to paint them himself.
In addition to the paint job the board has some texture with flocked desert tiles, double stacked mountain tiles and low lying swamp and wetland tiles. No need to create bridge intersections, anywhere that two tile corners are touching across a water tile border is where you can build a bridge.

Jason continues his customization work on the scoring track, which Siegrid hates on the original board since it doesn’t split at the corners by 5’s or 10’s.
